Academy Membership

B.O.CHANCE Badminton Academy Ostrava provides a structured badminton training programme for children and youth.

The programme is suitable for beginners as well as more advanced players who want to systematically improve technique, speed, fitness, coordination and game understanding.

Training sessions are led by qualified coaches and players are divided into groups according to age and performance level.

Our goal is to create a professional and friendly environment that supports long-term development, enjoyment of sport and a healthy lifestyle.

Training locations

Depending on performance level, players may train in the following sports halls:

Vítek Sports Hall
(Vítkovická Secondary Technical School)
Ostrava – Hrabůvka

University of Ostrava – Ball Sports Hall (Campus)
Moravská Ostrava 3397, Ostrava

More advanced players may gradually join intensive training sessions at the modern sports facilities of the University of Ostrava.

Regular training sessions:

Tuesday 16:00 – 18:00
Thursday 15:30 – 17:30

Training includes:

badminton technique development
footwork and coordination
speed and fitness development
game tactics
long-term player development

Players are divided into groups according to age and performance level.

Trial period

We would like players to try badminton without obligation.

The first month of training is free of charge.

What is included

The training fee includes:

✓ regular training sessions (2× per week)
✓ qualified coaching
✓ shuttlecocks
✓ racket loan if needed
✓ structured training programme
✓ club and federation administration
✓ possibility to participate in selected tournaments for advanced players
✓ use of sports facilities

Fee for international players

For players without permanent residence in the Czech Republic, certain public youth sport funding programmes (state or local support) cannot be applied. These programmes normally help reduce the cost of training for locally resident children.

For this reason, the following training fee applies:

6,000 CZK per semester

The scope of training and services remains the same as for other academy members.

This price is valid until 31 August 2026.

The fee for the following period may be adjusted depending on inflation, global economic conditions and the level of public support for sport in the Czech Republic.
